This Privacy Policy explains how Series ("Series", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Series mobile app (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Who we are

Series is a serialized‑fiction reading app. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@comparisonsai.com.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and an encrypted password, used to create and secure your account.
• Purchase and entitlement activity — coins purchased or earned, chapters you unlock, and VIP status, used to deliver what you've paid for or unlocked.
• Reading activity — which chapters you unlock/read, used to run the app and, if you opt in, to notify you about new chapters.
• Push token — a device notification token (from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you enable notifications, used only to deliver notifications to your device.
• Payment data — in‑app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your card details; we receive a confirmation that a purchase occurred.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or device advertising identifier. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To deliver content you unlock or purchase and keep your VIP/coins in sync.
• To send account emails (e.g. email confirmation) and, if enabled, chapter notifications.
• To operate, maintain, and protect the service against fraud and abuse.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the App, acting on our instructions — not for their own advertising:

• Supabase — hosting our database, accounts, and content.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering push notifications.
• Resend — sending account emails (e.g. confirmation).
• Google Play Billing — processing in‑app purchases.

We do not sell your personal data.

AI‑generated content

Stories in Series are original fiction created with the assistance of AI and reviewed for quality. They are intended for adult readers and may contain mature romantic themes and dramatic situations.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or fraud‑prevention obligations.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to your account content is enforced on our servers, and passwords are stored using industry‑standard hashing.

Children

Series is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@comparisonsai.com.

Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@comparisonsai.com from your account email address, or by using the account‑deletion option in the App. We will delete your data within 30 days, subject to the retention exceptions above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
