Privacy Policy — DualCam Recorder

DualCam Recorder (“the app”) is a camera recording app. This policy explains what the app accesses and what happens to your data. The app is built to keep your recordings on your own device or in your own cloud account — it does not send your recordings, or any personal data, to the developer or to any third party.
What the app accesses
- Camera — to record video from the front and/or back cameras.
- Microphone — to record audio into your videos (you can turn audio off in Settings).
- Network / Internet — only used if you choose the Google Drive save option, to upload your recordings to your own Google Drive.
Where your recordings go
- By default, recordings are saved locally in a hidden folder on your device that is kept out of the Gallery/Photos app. They are not uploaded anywhere.
- If you choose the Google Drive option, recordings are uploaded to your own Google Drive account, into a folder you choose. The app requests only the
drive.filepermission scope, so it can only see and manage the files it creates — it cannot read the rest of your Drive. Your Google sign-in is handled by Google’s own services; the app never sees your Google password.
Data the developer collects
None. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect personal data. Your recordings and your Google account details are never sent to the developer. The app has no user accounts and no server.

Children
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new “last updated” date.
